Blue oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) spawn plugs made from Canadian hardwood dowels. Each bag contains 50 plugs (8mm X 35mm) Longer plugs give better result. Plugs are made with fresh mycelium on organic certified rye or wheat grain. Mushrooms are propagated in an in-house sanitary environment using proper tools and protocols. Plug spawns make growing mushrooms at home easy and affordable.

1000 dowels are enough for 40 logs (4 feet long) with 25 plugs each). Putting more plugs per logs will make them colonizing faster.
**To prevent contamination, keep the bags closed until you are ready to use the plugs. Put the bag in the fridge for conservation. Use plugs within 6 months of purchase.
